So here it is, the first day of this potentially glorious month.

There’s no order to these beers, im just putting my hand into the box which they reside and pull.

Treetops Diamond Jubilee Stout from Windsor and Eton Brewery and stands at 4.8%.

First things first, no reading of blerb on the bottle yet, use that nose. Woah thats coffee! Not everyday crap coffee either, this is a real nice exotic smell. Do I also trace a bit of vanilla? (now looks at bottle) Why yes vanilla pods with African coffee, though missed the toasted yams. Taste wise the coffee remains powerful yet pleasant, the vanilla is quite mild even at the end and you immediately want another sip.

The smell is addictive, I like the way its gets more bitter over time drinking it, its not a heavy stout but i dont think i would want to drink another right after it.

A good start luckily. Though hopefully over time I’ll get better at describing beers and really trying to discover all a beer can offer
