Must say Im having trouble coming up with much for this one. Mc Chouffe from Ardenne stands at 8%, so I expected a strong hit at the end but its tastes like a 4% really, easy to drink then. It is a dark brown beer you really cant see through.
I had to read about it from others just to kick some sort of reaction, I can agree with the slight caramel smell and taste, but I never would have said fruity at all, maybe trace amounts if you leave it on your tongue for a while. Barley is the prominent aroma though. I personally dont get anything special from this one, its nice but quite plain. Now that more of the aftertaste kicks in, I can also say that it is not a bitter beer, if anything I swear it got a lil sweeter by the time I finished.
