Having so much trouble with this one. Brodie’s Smoked Rye Porter is seriously bitter, even for me, even at 7.3%.

Hell it even smells of burning as much as it tastes, the smokey bit is very mild. Its dark, smooth, the head dissapears quickly and in after drinking it over an amount of time (been drawing while sampling this), I find that I can drink it but do not think I’ll be having another. With some help I can agree that there is some cocoa flavours in here, but wouldn’t be surprised if they are also burnt.
