Okay okay another blonde beer but this time I seem to be looking forward to it.
This stands at 8%, seriously did my subconscious do this on purpose picking lots of strong ones, and this one I can feel. The strength is there and it’s really nice. This one by the way is Barbar, a strong ale made with honey and it really works. I have had ales before with honey but they either havent been balanced well or you just can’t taste it. The sweetness is really there but it never gets overpowering, even by the time you finish the glass. Cant say theres much other taste apart from barley and wheat, but you find yourself wanting more. I’m having trouble commenting on the aroma as my nose seems to be taking a day off.
After reading bottle, theres corriander in it?! Never would have known and the last time I had a corriander beer it was horrible, while this one is delicious, good job.
