I know I should be tasting more than I am, where have my tastebuds gone, was my tongue offended by the white wine I had a few hours ago?
Time to concentrate on Grottenbier Bruin by St. Bernardus standing at 6.5% then. I can say without thinking that this is a nice drink and very balanced it be. With thinking I can say it has slight tastes of brown sugar, a mellow sourness thats quite pleasant. Malty, real malty too. For the aroma I had to use help as I can’t smell a thing. I should be smelling slight caramel, malt and brown sugar.
The colour is chestnut brown… if this is all I can add then I think I’m gonna round this up. Grottenbier is very nice though
