Anchor steam beer by Anchor brewing company, a lil beer from san francisco standing at 4.9%.

One of the first lager like drinks so far I think. As much as I would love to say ‘how surprising!’ I can’t. Its what I expected and nothing new. Dont get me wrong it is perfectly drinkable with light light malt notes. Really cannot remember any sort of attractive/memorable aromas. It was just drank and them moved on to the next really.

Not as clear and clean as a lager, yet not as flavoursome as an ale, kinda struggling to find a place for this beer. Even with the apparant traditions going into making it.
