The sweet irony is the night before I had this bottle, myself and colin were out and he happened to have this on tap.
Plus my very first post was also a Windsor and Eton beer, though this one is nowhere near as exciting, exotic or tasty. This be Canberra standing at 4.0%. It has many notes that other beers have. Like caramel, slight treacle and malt aromas. Can’t say I noted any spice, though lil sweet toffee and treacle tastes appeared with a light bitter finish. Smooth certainly with a copper colour.
This one is the third and final of the queens jubilee special by the way, just a shame that the story behind this beer is far more intriguing than the taste.
