Back when this series was only 5 eps strong i was ready to praise its glory and tell people to watch this… but now… its taking the piss.
Dont worry im not going to say any direct spoilers, but really 3 -4 episodes to move a frigging boulder! and now near 3 episdoes to get on a horse…….GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! if anyone tries to argue it was developing characters and backstory, ep one to five did an entire backstory yet remained incredibly fast paced and jaw dropping. Why cant the rest
I can understand that the budget (is that really the reason?) has to be planned and used over a certain amount of time, but this kind of series from the very get go… involving animating a highly complicated Three Dimesional Movement Gear… should have bee thought out better
It remains good, but it was amazing. i genuinely felt that any character was cannon fodder and so you never knew what could happen. Though now its ‘oh there they are, there are the main characters’. Who knows maybe there will be one death to make to edgy and full of feels. (oh god i promised myself not to use the term ‘feels’ but im that dissapointed)
I still like this series enough to finish it and will be cosplaying it at Ayacon but it really need to kick up a gear or two
