The name is Celebrator. The maker is Ayinber. The percentage is 6.7%. And this is one confusing drink.
I wish I was joking when my first taste involved putting the bottle down walking off and then out loud saying with a raised eyebrow ‘SOYSAUCE!?’ or more that of a certain fermenting process. The aroma has quite a barley hit to it, would also say a somewhat bourbon hint as well. The actual taste is confusing still, even after I’ve had a while with it, its very complex would be the best word to describe this. Its malty, very barley wine like, is that banana at the back of the aftertaste, bourbon, slightly slighty smoky, (once someone mentioned raisins and vanilla I could recognise it), and more yet it somehow remains balanced. Bravo.
I learnt something new for this one though, this taste can also be described as biscuity.
I wasnt that into this beer while starting with it, but now that I realised, and enjoyed writing about, just how much is going on with this, I find myself quite intrigued by it. A real slow burner for me.
