I had to wait till after midnight to do this one as I am away to Nottingham for a day. So I could either drink it at 7 in the morning before I go, in the nearby park or have it now.
My word this one is disgusting… I even remember reading this and every part of me knew I would hate it, but both the optimist and the ‘M’ in me wanted it.
Here we have Sour brown from Nogne brewery standing at 5%. The first smell made me think of one of those experimental chocolates you get with spirits in them. The taste was (wait I have to not swear right?) a sour little twat, you try to tolerate it but then it just does something tragic to your lawn, erm okay I’m gonna reign myself in now. Texture was quite carbonated and completely none clingy, which I’m thankful for for once. It did have a slight oaky taste as well which was the only pleasant bit for me.
The writting on the bottle even admits that you should eat something with it. So I did, I ate ham after every sip. *smug face goes here*
haha this was still in the archives from last year. Here is my official NO THANK YOU to this drink!
Very descriptive, love it haha
It ended up being quite a fun one to write about. Guess I’m just really not into sour things.
