Here we have another one that I picked just because I couldnt read any of the description for it. Tonight we have Weissbier Dunkel from Andechs brewery standing at 5%.
The aroma is quite distant, it is quite mellow and takes a while to really take it in. The aroma of wheat, yeast and something else I’ve smelt before. The taste is quite heavy on the wheat and that same smell that I cant place is really in the taste as well. I personally find that the wheat and carbonation intrude too much to the experience. Texture wise it is not a heavy drink and does not stay around for long. Its just okay, just not something to my tastes.
Despite it being so okay, I learnt something new with this one. That strange taste I keep recognising, according to others, that was banana in the aroma and taste, at least I know now.
