Tonight sweethearts we have XXX from Three Tuns standing at 4.3%.
A very pale, clear blondey goldy beer. Havent had this kind of colour in a long time so looking forward to this. The aroma is lightly floral, lightly caramel, lightly hoppy, lightly earthy with slightly sharp notes. The carbonation is probably the strongest thing about this beer, but not intrusive and actually pleasant. A very clean drink, including the finish, the sharp bitterness does not linger. The taste is hoppy, floral, bitter and a little/lightly citrusy. And well balanced without any one flavour sticking out.
Lightly is the best way to describe this beer, yet balanced and simple. Just not too exciting.
