Whatever whatever, here we have Espresso from Dark star standing at 4.2%. I could keep this post short and simple by saying ‘yes, it does taste of nothing but coffee’ and end it there. But there is one or two other notes going on. The aroma really is espresso like, which is very nice, with a trace of odd chocolate. The taste is also coffee, quite bitter with no sweetness like a black coffee, while a hint of liquorice appears at the end with a introduction of vanilla. The bitterness remains in the aftertaste but does not build with drinking more. Plus it has low carbonation, not smooth, but makes it quite drinkable and once again reminds you of coffee.
