Will admit that I recognise the bow on the bottle neck, same as my current favourite for this years advent calendar, the third bottle Mad bitch.
Welcome back De Dolle Brewery with Stille Nacht standing at 12%. My word that strength is well hidden, it goes down very easily and leaves you wanting more. Will also note that this drink got better over time, did not like it everywhere near as much as compared to now.
Aromas are sweet, quite sugary, alcohol, spices for sure with another note I cant describe well, sort of leather like. Taste on the other hand is very balanced, a light sugar taste with an orangey citrus, with raisins and prunes, yet how the hell 12% is hidden so well is beyond me. Very low carbonation, medium body, seriously drinkable and has next to no clingy aftertaste, very clean so it leaves you craving more. Just one more sip sir.
Not as complex as the Mad bitch but Stille natch is up there in the big leagues. Really nice.
