Geek Pub Talk

So we have the start of the second beer advent calendar this year.  This is my first attempt at this, I declined last year due to my jobs hours being all over the place.  But I can’t use that this year as I’m rather unemployed.

I’ve really enjoyed reading Scott’s write ups over the last two years but I doubt I will get to his level of analysis.  Initially I was going to get the same beers as Scott but my brain failed me and I just ended up getting random ones.  Just think of it as even more beer reviews.

So to start off with we have what I think what these posts will end up like, F.U.B.A.R.  A pale ale from Tiny Rebel at 4.4%.  Pretty easily drinkable this one.  The bottle declares a face off between floral hopps and a dry spicy bitterness.  As I got further down the glass, I really started to notice the hopps but never the bitterness.  Maybe a full pint would have produced this rather than a 330ml bottle.

Now the tough part is not attacking the remaining 23 bottles straight away.
