Tonight sweethearts we have Mosaic pale ale from Adnams brewery standing at a mild 4.1%. Honestly, it is exactly what you expect from a pale ale, only very mellow and lacking any punch. Its one of those up its own arse describing itself as bold, fruity and full of flavours…. well its not. The aroma had me troubled for ages, buts theres a piney hint and an even smaller hint of mango. Appears as slightly peachy amber colour with a thin head. Taste is lightly hoppy, mild citrus but nice bitterness. While the finish has trace hints of cloves and malt. Only just realised that the carbonation was so forgettable that my brain didnt even think to mention it here.
You know when you eat a haribo and your left with that aftertaste, this does the same, only it doesnt make me reach for another one.
This is the sort of write up I would expect from an Adnams. And now I want some Haribo!
