Tonight we have Luppoo from Belgoo brewing standing at 6.5%. It feels like its been a while since I’ve had this yellowy blonde of a beer. Aroma is slighty sugar mixed with a sweet spice, fruits but not citrusy and a nice dry grassy hint. The taste was nothing special at the start but did develop more as time went by. The strength is very well hidden while the sweet, lightly hoppy and fruity notes roll around the pallet nicey. The low carbonation really works for this beer as well. All the textures, aromas and tastes mix very well together. The bittersweet tarte aftertaste hangs around for a while and remains pleasant, will also note that this is quite refreshing actually.
