Today/tonight we have Dissolution Extra IPA from Kirkstall Brewery standing at 6.0%. Photo doesnt show it the best but it pours clear gold, with zero head and the tiniest amount of carbonation. The aroma is typical IPA with some citrus and light pine like notes. The taste is mostly bitter, with a hint of sweetness and some floral touches. The alcoholic strength is well balanced with the flavours. It has a texture that I couldnt place properly, it is thin but quite soapy/likes to hang around. The aftertaste is the same the drinking tastes actually. Overall a good IPA but didnt get my motor running in any way.
