Tonight’s tipple is the Peregrine Porter from Cotleigh Brewery at 5%. This is one tasty beverage! I know I like porters, which is why there are several in my advent calendar, but this one is nice. The normal flavours of coffee and chocolate are there but not over powering. There is also something else there but I can’t quite place it. The text on the bottle mentions nuts and liqourice so I’m guessing its the latter. Naturally, being a porter it feels a bit denser when compared to some of the other beers I’ve had recently. The taste lingers as well which is also quite nice. Overall, two thumbs up.
