So here we are at the final beer from me for this years glorious advent calendar. And what a creepy one it is. Here we have Padrino from Edge brewering standing at 6.9%. A strong and delicious porter. Even if it was after five doom bars, christmas dinner and a gin and tonic, this was still a very welcome drink. Was pleasantly suprised at the mellow coffee but robust chocolate aroma’s, with some hints of dark fruits. The taste invloves a mixture of vanilla, chocolate, maltiness, darker fruits and a lining of sweetness. Texture is super smooth and not clingy at all. While the aftertaste is sweet and rich, encouraging you to drink more. A nice beer of finish with.
