It’s that time again, for Scott and myself to embark on a journey of beer. This one hasn’t started so well. The beers I ordered from Ales By Mail have yet to arrive and now my pc doesn’t want to load the wordpress uploader in Firefox. Microsoft Edge to the rescue (never thought i’d type that).
So today’s brew is Weird Beard’s Sadaho. An imperial stout at a hefty 9.5%, not that you’d know from the taste. When I started this one there as a little kick but that soon faded. It’s a surprisingly easy drink which I don’t always find for stouts. The flavour is a subdued coffee but with a sweetness I can’t quite place.
While I would recommend this, it was rather expensive. £8 for a 660ml bottle. But having just come back from a trip to Japan (hence the One Piece and Gundam coasters) and needing a beer for this, it sort of yelled out to me in the shop.
