Todays drink is Redemption’s Fellowship. A London Porter at 5.1%. As can be seen in the photo, this baby is dark. The smell is mostly liquorice. You can definitely taste the coffee in it, but it’s not overpowering like some porters. The label mentions an “initial sweetness that fades into a restrained bitter finish” and that’s actually pretty accurate. A nice solid porter I’d be happy to drink anytime. In other news, I should finally be getting the beers I ordered for this on Monday 🙂
