I havent seen so much dust on a bottle in ages, guessing this isnt a highly sought out beer then. Anyway, tonight we have Mars from Contreras brewery standing at 6.5%. Upon opening it was just a typical brown ale, only it got better as I carried on drinking it. On the nose it is pretty much just caramel and toffee. Taste also has caramel and toffee notes, only with a slightly metallic taste, combined with a sweet bread pudding. Texture is medium yet a little watery, leaving a slightly sweet aftertaste.
I am not in love with this beer at all, feels like its falling on a hurdle at some point during a run. I may try it again one day as I think it is actually past its best.
