Its a morning beer update so that must mean I’m inbetween night shifts. Today’s drink is Christmas On The Beach by Fyne Ales. It’s a south pacific lager at 5.2%. My nose is still blocked so I can’t get much of the smell. Taste wise, there is a light hoppy taste to it. I can’t seem to find the kiwi the bottle mentions in the taste but that’s probably me. Though as I drink more, there is a twang of sharpness to the aftertaste. Not heavily carbonated for a lager as well, which is nice. While nothing special, its a nice, drinkable beer. Though I’m not sure I’d want to spend Christmas on a beach in the UK, it would be bloody freezing.
