This time we have The Merry Elf from St Peters. I couldn’t see a specific style on the bottle so its ale at 4.5%. There’s a light aroma of fruit to this drink but it doesn’t make it in to the taste. In fact, not much makes it to the taste. Its surprisingly light given the dark colour. I was expecting something more in line with a stout from the look but its easy to drink. The bottle is actually oval shaped so it feels more old timey. Not sure why my brain thinks that. So overall, inoffensive and easy to drink.
