Weird Beard in collaboration with Lervig’s The Frog Is Fired is today’s beer. This is where I should pay more attention and not just pick up the bottle in the shop as I’ve had some good beers from the brewer before. A gooseberry pale ale (not a fan of that fruit) at 4.4%.
The citra hops make the beer smell nice. There is a sourness to the taste as well. I failed to notice the pouring instructions that tell you “pour carefully to ensure the yeast stay in the bottle”. Whoops. Overall, not a bad beer, just not too much to it.
