This is gonna be hard.
This lil beauty is Dulle Teve (Mad bitch) from De dolle brewery standing at 10%. Refering to the start of this post, this will be hard because it is stupidly nice. It has a lot going for it, it gets many things just right. Strong, not too heavy, pleasant carbonation, inticing aroma, an array of flavours, yet balanced, silly name and it leaves you feeling satified. Also said it was hard because I’m having trouble describing it. Just want to drink it haha.
The aroma has fruit, but not berry or raisin like, more apple. A smiggen of citrus. Theres something else too, like a honey yeastiness. Meanwhile the taste is sweet, ever so slightly sour, sweet apple, yeasty and the alcohol is hidden very well. Pleasant texture, not super smooth, just enough carbonation. With a lingering finish, bittersweet with even some spice. (Even got a flatmate involved for this one)
Big yet mellow. Complex yet simple to enjoy. And a joy to talk/write about. A very very good beer.
(Now I have learnt that it can be kept for years without it changing too much, and then its starts to get a little bit sweeter. So really would like to buy two more, have one next year then another even later.)
Now I realise that I am a little behind on this but I have been playing my first MMORPG. A friend has been playing Guild wars 2 for a long time and I kept getting more and more curious. Until I got to watch him play, and Dark souls 2 being pushed back for the pc version, I finally caved and got it.
It has taken me a while to learn just what to do, where to go, what things mean and how to really find what I find the most enjoyable about playing a massive multiplayer online role playing game. I made a female human ranger, which I named Blackirara, as I’ve always liked bows and you get a pet companion for close range attacks. When I was first just running around getting killed at the drop of a hat, chasing after everything I could with my bow and really not exploring that far. But it wasnt rewarding. Leveling took ages with the petty amount of experience gathered from the creature that I could handle. But then I started paying attention to the chat and to the group events. Then I fell in love with the game.
At first I was taken back by seeing this many people. When I first caught wind of a Champion training route. Basically doing a round trip of decent experience mini bosses in an order.
So imagine my brain when I started seeing this.
And this just blew my mind.
Plus this made me laugh, I think my female armour is a little bit different to their’s haha
Even the silly april fools day bobble-heads made me smirk a bit. When just chillin by a fire waiting on bacon hill for the train to start.
So yeah. I’m smitten with this game. Even more so with no monthly payments and even managed to get Colin here to get a copy.
Let the good times roll.
