Today we have Suruga Bay From Baird brewery standing at 8.5%. I knew I had another one from Baird but didnt expect to pick it the next day. This beer is going down so fast. Its very tasty, leaves a super hoppy bitter aftertaste that demands you have another glug. Its somehow got a thickness to it that remains smooth. The aroma is super hops, fresh citrus, zest and a little malt. The taste is malty, fruity, hoppy and then bitter, in that order. The alcohol strength is very well hidden but you are aware of it. Quite a complex feat this beer is.

Oh boy, so much beer over the last few days, time to chill out with another beer then.
Here we have 10 from XT Brewery standing at 4.5%. Theres no way around this, it is a good stout, but thats it. The texture is nice and oily smooth, very low carbonation and medium body actually. The aroma is a good level of coffee, roasted malts and a hint of powdery chocolate. The taste is the same but with added liquorice, toffee and a bitter punch as you put the glass down, which disappears quickly and leaves you with a slight watery aftertaste. Quite a balanced drink.
